Radio-Controlled Sniper (600-4116) Operation Faxback Doc. # 6819

DRIVING THE SNIPER

Warning: The Sniper works best on a clean, flat surface. Never play with
the Sniper in the street, and never drive it in water.

1. Fully extend the transmitter's antenna.

2. Set the Sniper's ON/OFF switch to ON.

3. Use the transmitter's control levers as follows:

    Left Control Lever

Push forward to move forward (F).

Push further forward for turbo power (TURBO).

Pull backward to move backward (B).

      Release to stop (O).

    Right Control Lever

Push left to move left (L).

Push right to move right (R).

      Release to go straight (S).

When you finish driving the Sniper, set ON/OFF to OFF.

WHEEL ALIGNMENT

If the Sniper does not go in a straight line when you release the right
control lever, adjust the wheel alignment control on the bottom of the
Sniper.

HELPFUL HINTS

The following hints can help you get the most enjoyment from the Sniper.

For maximum battery life, rest the Sniper for 45 minutes after every 15
  minutes of continuous use.

If the Sniper moves slowly or does not move at all, recharge the
  nickel-cadmium batteries.

If the Sniper's motor tuns but the Sniper does not respond to the
transmitter, replace the transmitter's 9-volt battery.

If the Sniper moves slowly, and you have installed fresh batteries,
check the wheel mechanisms for lint, thread, hair or dust.

If someone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with control of the
Sniper. If this happens, move the Sniper away from the CB.

You cannot operate the Sniper near devices with transmitters of the same
  frequency.
