This charger is specially designed to charge a 4.8V 600 mAH nickel cadmium
battery pack (Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-245) in 14 to 16 hours.

This charger uses a special (Tamiya) connector.  This makes connecting the
battery and the charger easy and safe.
