Adding The PhoenixFAX Upgrade (25-1344)

When upgrading to the PhoenixFAX for Windows use the following steps.

1.   From the Program Manager, click on "File",then click on "Run".  At the
     command line, type in A:\SETUP <enter>.

Setup will find a version of PhoenixFAX for Windows already installed in
C:\DATAFAX.  Setup will perform an upgrade and save your Phone Book and Fax 
files.

2.   Click on "OK" to continue or "CANCEL" to escape.

3.   Setup will list the default dir of "C:\DATAFAX" and ask you if you 
     would like to install the upgrade to that dir.  Click on "OK" to 
     continue.

Setup will now copy files to your hard drive.

4.   A hardware box will appear.  This will allow you to change the
        * Com Port   Com2   Com1 through Com4 available
        * Speaker    Low    Low or High ( This is for the int speaker)

5.   A window will pop up an ask you to test your fax by registering the 
     software click on "OK" to continue.

6.   This window is for User Registration.  Click on "CANCEL" then click on
     "CANCEL" again to skip the registration procedure.

7.   This window is for User Identification.  Enter your Name, Organization,
     and Fax Number.  Click on "OK" to continue.

8.   Now the setup is complete, click on "OK".

This will upgrade from Phoenix MicroFAX ver. 1.04 to PhoenixFAX for Windows 
ver. 1.10
     *   May select up to 128 destinations for each fax
     *   The Send & Receive logs will hold a max of 260 entries.  After 250 
         entries it will begin prompting you to delete some entries

While PhoenixFAX for Windows installs, it will check the modem that is set 
up, under *Option - *Hardware - *Com Port.  If this is installed while it is 
set to COM2 ( The Sensation's send-only fax/modem ) it will only display two 
windows under PhoenixFAX for Windows.
     1) Sent Log
     2) Fax Queue

If a send/receive fax was installed after the PhoenixFAX upgrade and you 
would like to receive a fax using PhoenixFAX, do the following.
                
1.   Double click on the Notepad icon

2.   Click on "File", then click on "Open". Delete the *.TXT and type in 
     PHNIXFAX.INI <enter>.

You will see the following:

     [Modem]
     Volume=Low
     Port=COM2
     Mode=FAX
     Baud=2400
     DataBits=8
     StopBits=1
     Parity=NONE
     InitString=+++~ATZ|~AT &C1 S7=45|
     Baud Rate=Auto
     Card Type=Sendfax

3.   Cursor down to the line "Card Type=SENDFAX" change this to "CLASS1"
     or "CLASS2" depending on which modem type you have installed.
