Power Saving Options:

The computer has several options you can turn on and off to save power. The
MS-DOS/BASIC diskette contains the Power11.Com program. This program lets
you change the setting for three power options:

* Automatic Floppy Disk Standby Mode

* Low Power Beeper

* Display Timeout

As with Setup_11.Com, you can use this program in a menu mode. Additionally,
you can use command-line options to set the options, without entering the
menu mode. The command-line mode is useful if you want to include options in
batch files. Any changes you make to the options are in effect immediately.
The computer loses the changes if you turn off or reset your computer. The
menu mode operates identical to the Setup_.Com program, except that you can
set the display timeout from 0 to 255 minutes.

The command-line options for power11 are:

/F Displays the current Automatic Floppy Disk Standby Mode setting.
/F:ENABLE Enables the Automatic Floppy Disk Standby Mode.
/F:DISABLE Disables the Automatic Floppy Disk Standby Mode.
/B Displays the current Low Power Beeper setting.
/B:ENABLE Enables the Low Power Beeper.
/B:DISABLE Disables the Low Power Beeper.
/D Displays the Display Time Out value.
/D:n Sets the Display Time Out to n (where n is a number from 0-255).
              0 disables the Display Time Out function.

You would, for example, type: power11/f <ENTER> to display the current
status to Automatic Floppy Standby Mode. You can also turn on or off the floppy
disk standby mode and the display at any time by pressing a key combination.
<FN+F4> turns on and off the floppy disk controller standby. <FN+F7> turns
the display off. Press any key to turn on the display.
