What This Diskette Does
-----------------------
The Display Driver Diskette for Windows 3.11 enables or updates the Display
function of the following ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad 310/310D, 310E/310ED

 - (New) Support for ThinkPad 310/310D.

 - (Fix) When both background and exclusive are set with PIF editor in DOS
         full screen, the screen sometimes will go blank when goes to full 
         screen from Windows31 to DOS box.

 - (New) Support for ThinkPad 310E/310ED.
 - (Fix) Abnormal display and keyboard error occur when user switch the DOS 
         prompt to window and full screen in Windows 3.1.


Installation Guide
------------------

< Windows 3.11 >

  1. Start DOS. 
  2. Insert the Display Driver Diskette for Windows 3.11 into the diskette drive.
  3. Type A:\ and press Enter.
  4. Type SETUP to start the display driver setup program.
  5. Enter A for English setup menu.
  6. Press any key; then press Enter to select Windows Version 3.1
     (6555X accelerated drivers).
  7. Press Enter to select All Resolutions; then press End.
  8. Enter your Windows subdirectory and press Enter to begin installation.
  9. Press any key and Esc key, then type Y to exit the setup program.

  Selecting the Resolution :
  1. Start DOS and go to your Windows subdirectory.
  2. Type SETUP to start Windows setup program.
  3. Using the Up arrow, highlight Display and press Enter.
  4. Select the desired resolution from the menu and press Enter.
  5. Press Enter key twice to apply and exit the setup program.

  When you start Windows from the DOS prompt, do not close the LCD while the program
  is loading; if you do, the computer will stop running.
