"TRITON" is a new INTEL PCI chipset that you may have on your Pentium PCImotherboard. It has been verified that on TRITON-based systems the VGA Windows 3.1/3.11
display driver may not work with Matrox MGA Ultima and Impression boards. Generally, the problem will only show up if you have a sound card playing ".wav" files from Windows. For example, Windows often starts with the well-known "tada".
The Matrox PowerDrivers will NOT exhibit this problem, but since installation
of our driver is done from VGA Windows, you will not be able to complete the
installation. To avoid this problem, you will have to either: - disable sound during MGA software installation,
or- install the special VGA driver included in this diskette.

Impression-Plus, Impression-Pro, and Impression-Lite boards. These drivers are not the same as the ones supplied on the installationdisks of Windows NT 4.0. This driver is fairly stable for the PCI boards however, there are a
few problems with jitter and corruption on the VL and AT boards. Therefore,
users are recommended to use the Microsoft NT 4.0 driver that can be
found on the OS CD-ROM and the 2.30 driver should be used by those who
