Where were we?  Ah, yes...  We solved the reactor room problem, 
didn't we?  I think?  Well, here we go again.


Floor 4
-------

After you've caught your breath, you can leave the reactor room and 
head for the elevator.  On your way, you might wish to visit Dane 
again - you can "use" him to get his battery, which will bring you 
up to full health and charge if you "use" it (you'll have to drop 
the other battery).  Seems a bit mean, though.  Up to you.  

Anyway.  Once in the elevator, use the panel to go to Floor 4.  
Save.  When you step out, a door opens and a robot with bad 
intentions comes to greet you.  Press C.  Shoot, step a bit to the 
left and shoot, step a bit to the right and shoot, etc.  Keep 
zig-zagging and shooting and you should make a nice bonfire.  No 
need to run around ragged, just step elegantly out of the way.  When 
you've destroyed it, save your game.

Go to the door and use the panel to the right.  Another one of those 
silly puzzles - I seem to be doing nothing else these days.  The 
object of the exercise here is to have all the keys lit up save the 
one in the middle.  See what every key does when you press it.  It's 
just a matter of trying different things till you get it right.  
Reset if you want to.  I'm sure you'll solve the puzzle, so we'll 
move on.  Save before you do.

Outside
-------

When you are through the door, move to the left, ready the alien 
cube and use the flashing button to open the elevator.  Go in, wait 
till you get down and then run like hell to the left.  When the 
change of screen takes place, don't pause - keep running forward and 
make for the two cubes you will see immediately below the catwalk.  
Jump onto the first, then onto the second, face right and use the 
cube.  You will be transported to the next one.  Get in the right 
position and use the cube again.  Keep going, climbing when you can, 
using the cube when you can't, till you hit the beach.

The beach
---------

Walk near the water till you see a monster rising out of it.  Walk 
past the door to have a better look at your new pal - but don't get 
too close.  Go through the open door and walk straight ahead to pick 
up another healing device, then save and turn left till you come to 
a barred doorway.  Hang around here and you will meet up with a 
beligerent marine.  Get up close to him before he has a chance to 
shoot you (you might have to advance shooting to stop him doing so) 
and, when close, start punching him.  It will take a while, but you 
will kill him.  Pick up his gun and the key device.  You will have 
to discard your blaster.  Use the key device on the bars to get 
through.  As you come up the stairs, use the panel to the right.  
You will see your monster hanging around.  Use one of the missiles 
and wait till the monster goes to examine the hole you've just made 
- he will obligingly get into range, so you can fire the next 
missile at him.  He takes his time about dying, but then, we don't 
have to catch a train.

Leave and go out of the dropship.  Save.  Go to where the monster 
was and step onto the end of the slab.  Ready the alien cube and use 
it to go all around and investigate the directions in which you can 
travel (you will notice that the monster now makes a useful 
bridge).  It's important that you should discover the proper route 
to follow before you do anything else.  

You will find that, from the slab the monster was guarding, you can 
use the cube and land on another platform, where the dead monster 
creates a nice bridge.  Go onto the next platform and climb up.  Use 
the cube and, facing up, climb again.  Use the cube to travel to the 
next blocks, climb up carefully (you have to move up a bit to the 
right when you come to the final block) and step onto the catwalk.  
Save before you go right, advance cautiously, and shoot the first 
robot you come to.  Put down the gun and run right till you come to 
a tunnel.  Turn into it and you will find a sealed door.  OK.  Go 
back to the beach the way you came.

Use the missile landing on the beach to get a bomb.  Run like hell 
to the sealed door, and put the bomb by it, then run out again.  You 
have to be very fast and pixel perfect, but it can be done.
