  Conquest Version 2.5

  Changes

  SPeter Software 10 January 1992

This file contains a summary of the changes since version 2.3:

NEW FEATURES
------------
  - Changed the game to (optionally) use a SVGA graphics display mode using
Jordan Hargrave's SVGA-BGI driver (see SVGA16.DOC), a field has been
added in CONQUEST.INI that specifies which video mode is to be used.

  - Added code for an alternate mouse cursor. Many(?) mouse drivers can't
display a cursor in SVGA graphics modes, so code to do this has been
added to conquest. A field has been added in CONQUEST.INI to explicitly
    turn this on/off.

  - Increased map limits from 18,14 to 24,20. This is useful if the game is
being played on a large screen :-)

  - Changed the maximum number of cities allowed in the game from 25 to 35
and added a field for this in CONQUEST.INI.

  - Added an AutoSave field in CONQUEST.INI. If this is turned on then
after player 1 has completed moving their forces the game is saved as
    "savedgam.255".

BUG FIXES
---------
  - Fixed a problem with computer player's support-attack code which was
    added in version 2.2.

  - When conquest loads a previously saved game it now calculates the number
of cities in the game, rather than assuming the number will be the same
as in the current CONQUEST.INI file.
